Ullapool and the Stornoway Ferry arriving at Ullapool

Ullapool foreshore near the harbour. While Ullapool does not have a sandy beach there is a number of excellent sandy beaches that are not too far away. The Ullapool Tourism & Business Association has a comprehensive list of bed and breakfast accommodation and other tourism information on Ullapool.
The Inverewe Garden is owned and run by the National Trust for Scotland and is well worth the trip. It is visited by many thousands of people each year who are amazed at the range of semi-tropical plants growing in this northerly garden.
Poolewe and the sea loch - Loch Ewe
Poolewe is located south of Ullapool and the trip to Ullapool goes through some of the most beautiful scenery in the Highlands.
